Running Cat Films

Launched in 2025 by Taiwanese British producer-director Grace Lin, a Film London Connect mentor and Video Consortium organiser, Running Cat Films is a cross-cultural non-fiction outfit and Documentary Film Council member. The company’s active slate comprises two feature documentaries in production, ‘Tzusy: First Person Plural’ and ‘Had I Not Seen Freedom’, alongside two shorts: ‘Seeking Tabob’ (pre-production) and ‘How WomAre You?’ (post-production).

Grace Lin

Grace Lin is an award-winning Taiwanese British producer and director. Through her London-based company, Running Cat Films, she leverages deep international broadcast rigour, built across a premium television and drama career, to anchor a highly collaborative, independent cinema slate. Drawing from her journey from Taiwan to the UK, she focuses on diverse cross-cultural non-fiction exploring immigrant experiences. Demonstrating strong career trajectory and market readiness, her current documentary features have secured development funding from Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture and the NCAF, and she received British Council support to pitch the slate at the 2025 CNEX Chinese Doc Forum (CCDF), winning an AIDC Award.
